We are pleased to announce that we have released Photo Editor 11! A few years after the launch of Photo Editor 10, we have revamped the software, adding in many new features that we are excited to announce!
Smart Erase Brush in Menu and Filter
Smart Erase is a new feature for Photo Editor 11 that will help you quickly and flawlessly edit your photos. What is Smart Erase? Brush over unwanted objects with the Smart Erase tool and watch them disappear instantly. The Smart Erase tool fills in the area naturally.
You are now able to preview and play actions on your photos in Photo Editor 11. Actions give you the ability to add on filters, color, lighting, black and white, photo effects, and much, much more. Having this available in Photo Editor 11 is a game-changer! This gives you so many more options to creatively edit your photos!
Import & Export Actions
Now in Photo Editor 11, you are able to import and export actions! Did you create an action that you think other photographers will find useful? You can export it and share it on ACDSee’s Actions page. And vice versa—maybe you will find an action that you want to use on your own photo or set of photos. You can now import Actions from other photographers!
Liquify is a very interesting and fun tool that can be used to edit a variety of images. You can use it to manipulate a body of water, elongate a neck, fix a model’s hair, and more. There are many ways to use the Liquify tool, making it a great asset to Photo Editor 11!
Pixel targeting can greatly help photographers fix small details in their photos. Use Pixel Targeting to direct selections and masks to exact colors, brightness values, and even skin tones. Pixel targeting can be very helpful when using layers. Make your photos pixel-perfect before you send them out to clients or display them to the public! Want more information on Pixel Targeting and how it can help you? Check out our video here!
Color LUTs are color lookup tables. This is a very beneficial tool for photographers to expand creativity. Develop your LUTs using an infinite combination of colorful adjustment layers. Seamlessly color grade your images by importing and applying LUTs as non-destructive filters.
Create selections based on the brightness in your images. The brighter a pixel is, the stronger a selection will be on that pixel.
Focus Stacking is one of our most anticipated features! With Focus Stacking, you can combine a series of different focal distances to create one image with a greater depth of field than a single exposure would allow. This gives you the ability to include more detail in your images.
Use the Blended Clone tool to copy pixels from a source area to a target area. ACDSee analyzes the pixels in the target area and blends them with the copied pixels for the most seamless repair yet. This is a brand–new tool for Photo Editor 11, combining the Smart Erase and Clone tool into one.
Rules / Guides
Customizable rulers and guidelines make placing layers, text, and objects foolproof. Snap layers to guidelines. Lay as many guidelines as you like. Control the unit of measure, color, and visibility.
Resize the canvas to expand around your layered content or add solid backgrounds for limitless photo manipulations.
Tons of RAW formats
ACDSee Photo Editor 11 offers RAW support for hundreds of camera models! You can see a list of our supported formats here.
