When we asked you what you wanted from ACDSee Pro 3, two things came through loud and clear: stability and performance. And we’ve responded. Improvements to ACDSee Pro 3 Beta since the first beta release have focused on just that.

Just downloaded. I see this was released today. Since I’m in the Beta version every day, sometimes for hours, it was a natural for me to get Beta 2. You can be sure that I will put it to the test. I can’t wait until the final version because I know it will be the best there is - at least for me.

I’ve used both of the beta and like the new function layout. Also seems fairly nippy.
However, I’ve found a greater tendency to lock up when dealing with a reasonable number of image files - more so than v.2.5. It usually comes back if it’s left alone, but any attempt to haul it back results in death.
I’m using an Intel DQ35CB m/b with a quad processor, 8GB RAM and running Vista 64bit OS. The files are .cr2 (Canon raw).

BRAVO !!!
The second beta is MUCH better…faster and more stable (so far). Hat’s off to the development folks. DEV leads and managers should buy dinner and drinks for the whole team. Way to go !!
