I’m always intrigued by the color tweaking I can do to a digital image in ACDSee Photo Manager 2009. Playing with the trees in an outdoor scene are green but not green enough or the experimenting with the hues of a shot is almost perfect. I love the fact that I can, in a few steps, quickly jump in and change HSL values, adjust RGB values or remove a color cast to get just the right look. Plus, once I have a formula I like I can also save the options as a preset for future use. Over the next few posts, I’m going to explore that color editing features in Photo Manager 2009, starting with Color Casts.
It looks like 2009 is going to be a great year with all sorts of exciting things planned. From what’s happening in the world of scrapbooking to tutorials and craft ideas that help you get the most out of ACDSee Photo Editor, from the latest tips in digital photo to hint on getting organized with ACDSee Photo Manager, we’re making the Home Blog your first stop for all things ACD.

After a wonderful Fall day on the farm, I really wanted to highlight one of my favorite photos. It just so happened I had one of those plain, floating glass frames and I used Photo Editor 2008 to create a pretty frame around the photo before I printed it .
Here’s how to quickly and easily build a scalloped photo frame using ACDSee Photo Editor 2008.
