Sometimes knowing a few little shortcuts can speed up using a tool. ACDSee is no exception, read on to find out a few of my favorite tips!
Right click on a thumbnail you get ACDSee’s right menu (left screenshot) Hold down the Ctrl key while right clicking on a thumbnail, you get Windows menu (right)
In the folders pane, to expand all the folders quickly, select the top folder and hit the * key repeatedly on the num pad keyboard until all expand.
The * key on the num pad technique works on categories in the Organize pane too!
If you have been playing with the different panes, resizing them, moving them, undocking them, the quickest way to get them back to normal is to go to View | Reset Layout
Hit F5 to refresh ACDSee. This is useful if you have just saved a file to a folder ACDSee is viewing but it doesn’t show up immediately.
If you double click on the image and open the viewer. Hit the F key to switch to full-screen and hit F again to return back to the Viewer tool.
Do you have any favorite shortcuts or tricks in ACDSee that you use frequently?
