Using Go to File in ACDSee Photo Manager

Do you find yourself searching for images in ACDSee?  Whether you are searching for things using keywords or categories, this tip will be super useful.  Using the Go To File.. is a handy shortcut that saves time browsing your folders tree!

I use ACDSee primarily for organizing digital scrapbook kits.  Let’s search for a category and get some results..

Now, you browse for whatever you are looking for, right click on it and choose Go To File..

And ACDSee takes you directly to the folder on your hard drive or external hard drive where that image resides.

Another tip:  Sometimes people don’t see the Go To File…  in the right click menu.  All that means is you are already in the folder where the files exists so you won’t see the option because you are already there.
