Hi,
this morning I wanted to send a file using ACDsee - just a single picture.
So I selected the picture and used the function so send via email.
Because I used this function in advance with build 219 I already had my smtp account setup correctly.
When it came to the point to send over the email client or smtp directly I chose smtp and presses next.
After that I received an error message that Outlook could not be found and that I should start the program.
Well there is something wrong with this because it explicitly did not want to use Outlook but ACDsee pro 2 238 ignored my wish to send via smtp.
*After pressing ok on that error I was allowed to continue and could start to send the picture.
---at this point I experienced two different begaviours with two different tries
In the first attempt I was presented with the prograss bar and suddenly ACDsee vanished from the screen.
No usual error message like "An error occurred and ACDsee had to be closed" or anything else, just nothing.
I also checked the taskmanager if ACDsee was still there but it was gone completely without a notice.
*The second time I followed the same steps also received the Outlook error (but smtp was still selected) and sending did work.
Is this a bug?
