Won't work due to lack of base

I installed v3 before and it worked but then I somehow managed to screw it up so I uninstalled and reinstalled but I am still getting this message when I try to start it up. As you can see from my other attachment though that folder DOES exist but seems to be corrupt in some way? Anyone know a way to reset it to open in a default manner or have the files I might need to replace to make this work?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Phil

guessing your path should have been M:\acdsee 3\Base\Default

to fix your path, you need to wipe out your user settings in your registry.

I don't know if this tool works for pro 3 version.

Quick way:

Registry tool to delete users settings in ACDSee Photo Manager on XP and Vista.

http://files.acdsystems.com/english/techsupport/reg/prod/r_acdsee.exe

or

Manually editing the registry settings:

on Vista:

1. Close Photo Manager
2. Go to the Start Menu
3. Then click on Search and Type in REGEDIT and hit Enter.
4. Click on the + sign next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
5. Click on the + sign next to Software.
6. Right Click on the ACD Systems entry (Folder) and
7. Select Delete.
8. Close this program
9. Reopen Photo Manager
