new forum is another fine mess. no overview at all, hard to follow, no categories (product issues, suggestions...)
where do i find mods posts? where do i find announcements on new releases, new patches, workarounds?
has company withdrawn their stuff from forum? should users solve their issues with other users?
i'm wondering why acdsee is driving out their customers.

don't worry, the staff's still here.
Important posts can be made stickies, as in the old forums. So you'll find announcements, mods posts etc. in the subforum of the product the information is referring to at the very top of all threads, marked as [sticky]. Currently, there are not many stickies but we'll sure have some in due time.
EDIT: now we have two new forums:
Number 1 will be used for the official announcements you've mentioned and number 2 is for the user's issues regarding the community software, style and similar. But you will find official announcements also as stickies in the product forums when they concern one specific product.
