No New Content Since Last Visit
I suppose apologies are in order. I don't mean to overwhelm the forum with these posts but I am working from a trial version of Canvas 11 and am trying to get these thoughts down before it expires.
Text in Canvas hasn't changed in a long time. It is very functional but has some annoying characteristics which I would change in Canvas 12.
- I would support windows hot keys, such as bold, italics, underline, underscore, etc.
- Since text often covers multiple pages and might flow through many text boxes it is difficult to edit and format. I would add a text editor window tool which allows an entire text string to be reworked as a single entity.
- I would add a table tool because so many business users rely on tables to organize data.
