What do you not need Pro 3 to do?

    Based on the description of the Pro 3 Beta, are there any features planned that you will not need?

    To echo what many others have said, I don't think on line mode will be all that useful.  If it's for sharing there are already plenty of alternatives.  (and I hope you are not going to criple the existing interfaces you already have to some of them.)  If it's for archive and backup the I would be seeking out a more robust alternative.  If it was to achieve a fourth mode... that I can understand.  Three of something sounds too easy.

    I probably will never use these as I already have my favorites:

    1) Convenient FTP uploader

    2) Free online photo sharing

    3) SMTP e-mail support

    FTP uploader and SMTP e-mail support are not high on my "most wanted" list. In fact I'm afraid they are not there at all. There are dozens of great FTP programs (even freeware) with tons of options so I wouldn't really waste resources here.

    I am looking forward to the many new features of ACDSee Pro 3, but it is hierarchical keywords that I would welcome most.

    I will most probably NOT use:

    - Free on-line photo sharing. I already use SmugMug and I am satisfied with them.

    - SMTP e-mail support. If needed, I use my normal email program.
