using vignette in Pro 3 still leaves a visible 'ring' at the edge of the clear zone, start of the vignette... it's not noticeable on a busy background, but if you have a clean background, like a wall or solid canvas, you can notice the ring... it's like the vignette transition doesnt start as feathered as it should. This was the case in Pro2 as well. any plans to correct this?

Hi tdi,
You need to contact support.

I did. Got the automated reply, and a reply saying it would be forwarded to development team because it was working (just not good). Never got a reply after that... pass the buck kinda thing.
Had an issue with import not working on 2.5 or 3.0, waited a week and got a reply finally said they didn't know what would cause that problem.
Sorry, quite frankly, support is... well anything I say at this point isn't going to be nice, so.
And since this is an issue that was reported in 2.0 and has never been fixed, I'm guessing it's a 'we don't care' kind of thing? I posted the issue here in hopes someone would see it and respond here (Tony from development?), but it looks like it's getting passed off again. What do you say Mel?

Can you give me the ticket number? I'll bring it up.

Like I said, it was an issue reported in 2.0. Much too long ago to keep emails. And it really isn't a 'support' issue, it works like programmed, just the programming, the feathering at the start of the vignette, needs to be smoother to not make the noticeable 'ring' on a plain background area...

I see the ring too. Example...

To illustrate, although the example above shows it fairly well already...

Ok, me again.
I've just confirmed that the info was forwarded to Product Management for addition to their internal tracking system and that it's being reviewed and investigated. Unfortunately, I can't provide information on when or if it will be resolved but suffice to say, it's on their radar.-Mel

Thanks Mel!
To answer your Q's, it DOES show in the print, and it IS in the saved file.
