Viewer configuration

I use ACDSee Photo Manager 9 for my photos and also viewing images in general. For this, it is perfect.
I use WenSoftware's excellent MusicLibrary to catalogue my mp3 and audio CD collection, playing files through WinAmp.
Obviously, I don't need (nor want) ACDSee to view audio files and I have disabled viewing of them in its browser but there doesn't seem to be an option to prevent the viewer stalling for 5 seconds before showing an icon every time it comes across an audio file as I flick through a folder with it.

Is there a way to configure the viewer to skip past audio files as it used to do in versions gone by? It's starting to drive me nuts.
It is called Photo Manager, after all.

    Hi Chris,

in order to disable audio files in ACDSee, you have to go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > PLUGINS > PLUGIN SETTINGS. On the first tab, IMAGE DECODE, uncheck ID_MEDIA.APL
Please note that you also disable all other media files, like avi or wmv by doing so.
