temp change back to jpg

    Would anyone help me?  When I import my picture from my extenal disk to my computer, some .jpg files become .temp extension. Can anyone tell me how to change back to .jpg in batch so that i do have to change each picture on by one!

    There is a batch rename facility that should let you do this easily.  I forget where it is in the menu for that version, but it should work to select the files and hit F2 to bring up the batch rename dialog.

    Was the renaming to temp caused by another program, or perhaps a temporary glitch that happened one one specific download in ACDSee?  Normally, of course, it shouldn't be doing that.
