    Hi guys,

Please help me with a very bothersome situation. Just moving my pictures folder from one partition to another I seem to have encountered a major problem. Some photos have become invisible, some of the others are only half-visible and I get the message: "The source data format is not recognized". I use ACDSEE Photo Manager 2009.

    What might be the problem?

What size are the files of the ones having trouble?

Also, check Database->Quarantine Files.  That message appears, among other times, if files have been quarantined for some reason, like if ACDSee encountered some sort of problem accessing them before.  As often as not, simply removing them from quarantine gets everything back to normal.

Hi guys... can anyone help me please?

After transferring photos from my camera to my computer, some of the photos are not visible.  An error message 'The source data format is not recognized' pops out.  I am unable to open with other applications too.  I even tried to copy the file to my thumbdrive and open it from another computer, but it failed.

I have also check in ACDsee > Database > Quarantine files.  There is no quarantine files.

My IT friend told me my file has been corrupted but I hope that is not the case.

    Please help me...

    Thanks very much.

If other systems and other apps are also showing the same, it sounds as if your IT friend is right.  Are they still on the camera to re-import?
