Can someone please help me with my Number 1 gripe with ACDsee - How can I get ACDSee to display the shutter speed used to take an image as a fraction, ie. 1/60sec, rather than the totally useless decimal reading that ACDsee seems to have rigidly stuck with over the years?
ACDSee Pro 2 and 2.5
Shutter speed display - Why decimal???

Sorry but I am a bit lost on this one. Every pane in Properties displays as a fraction for me. Where, specifically, do you experience this issue please?

Hi:
In a recent shoot -- same day, same Nikon D80, all pix shot within 90 minutes, I get the following EXIF "exposure time" numbers in ACDSee 2.5 (with all updates). The photos were transferred from SD card to PC via Nikon Transfer (latest, all updates)
1/60 s, 1/3 s, 0.4 s, 1/6 s, 0.625 s, 0.769231 s, 1/1 s
A recent photo sent by a friend has this: 0.0166667 s. Nikon Transfer not involved in this photo.
It's puzzling, but not serious.

Dear Sam,
Thanks for responding to my query.
Please refer to the sample screen attachment. The Exposure time is expressed as a decimal value in the "Properties - EXIF" pane and in the "Preview" window. Occasionally, for some photos, it appears as a fraction but mostly the value is decimal.
Can this field be "set" to always display exposure time as a fraction?
Regards,
Peter

This is a feature, not a bug. 0,0193424 sec as fraction is 12089/625000 sec.

Hope this 'bug' will be solved soon. I think it pretty confusing when having shot a few series in a row (bracketing) on the same subject and the shutter speeds are randomly showing either the n.nnnnn or 1/nnn format.
