This has already been discussed in this thread on the beta forum
but hasn't been fixed in the release version.
Simplest scenario is: Use "Copy to Folder" to make a copy of an image file in the same folder. After copying, the new image will be added to the end of the images in the current folder and will be selected. Re-sort into Filename order and no image is selected, so I have to find the image again.
Things aren't quite so bad if I process the image before trying to re-sort, as at least I can find the updated image by sorting into "Modified date" order, going to the end, and then re-sorting by Filename.
Either way, this happens every time and is proving a major annoyance.
With v2.5 sometimes the wrong image (a few away from the previous one) would be selected after re-sorting, but I always found that some (rather than no) image was selected.
