Help! I have folders with JPG and PSD image files in them, but only the JPGs shot in the file list. I thought I had lost images until I checked with Windows Explorer and saw they were still there. I didn't have a problem with this with ACDSee 9. ThumbsPlus shows the PSD thumbs.
I have ACDSee 9 set very minimalist. That is I just want to see image thumbnails in the file list pane. In Configure Filters I have Apply Filtering Criteria and have only Show Image Files checked. I can check all four check boxes and still do not see the PSDs. However if I choose the 'Show all files' radio button then I can see a PSD icon in the file list. But no image thumbnail. If I try to open the PSD to view the preview Photoshop saves, then Photoshop starts up.
I want Windows to associate PSDs with Photoshop but still want to view the preview in ACDSee 10 Photoshop saves with its PSD.
In Photoshop CS3 I have Image Previews set to Always Save and Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility set to Always.
Any ideas how I can get to view the PSDs in ACDSee 10? If there is a place where I can tell ACDSee what file types to deal with I can't find it.
Thanks, -Dave
