Resize to a specific size

Does anybody out there know how to batch-resize photos to a specific max. filesize...?
Am not sure but think this option is not included into ACDSee sofar.

Right now I need to open them one by one, go into modify/resize/percentage and then calculate, which obviously is quite a bit of work when a larger number of files to be handled that way.

Seems there are hardly any utilities capable of doing this (found one, but one needs to be registered
when trying to save a file).

    Hello mrwul,

I'm not sure if you do that via batch export in ACDSee. If you want to give Canvas X a try, you can set up a script that would do that process for you. The Scripting Guide has examples to follow for both PC and Mac.
