Is there anyway via a batch process, I can rename files based on the database date column?  Thanks!

What am I trying to do?  I have 100 photos for a video project.  I need to upload these photos into my video editing software.  I only have one way to sort in my video software and that is by file name.  Thanks

Yes, I do this all the time.  In the Batch Rename dialog, on the Template tab, type what you want, and where you want the date to appear, hit the Insert Metadata button, and select the date you want.  It helps to have first set the date output format under set tools-options-general; I use yyMMdd.

Similar process if you want to do this automatically on import, using the import dialog.  I like this better because the Batch Rename doesn't remember my template automatically - I have to keep selecting it again from the drop down.  But that could be better if you don't actually want the same template all the time.
