When will support be added for the RAW format used by new cameras like Nikon D700?
The new Nikon D700 has been out for more than one month now. The RAW format should
be very close to the D3 support since the cameras use the same sensor model.

When looking at the ACDSee update page it seems like a RAW-file support update
is added twice during a year. I find that unacceptable if I'm going to continue to use
program. I hope that there will be an improvement soon.

    Henrik,

I am looking into adding support for the Nikon D700. Unfortunately I do not have a date for our next RAW update but we are trying to update the RAW-file support more frequently than we have done in the past.

The D3 and D700 NEF formats are identical except one contains the string "D3" and the other "D700". There is a simple piece of software (see the Nikonians forums) that will flip the string back and forth.

The easy workaround for the user shows it should be an easy update for the ACDSee developers.
