i've spent some time going through old and new forum, to follow wishes, complaints and suggestions bout acdsee "pro".
i found many topics never been answered by stuff, many topics been answered by stuff but never been fixed.
another fine mess was update 2.5 ; obviously never pre-tested; but tested by paying users; several users having heavy problems.
again, i wonder if that company is giving up that project?
i'm using acdsee for several batch-resize-stamp... purposes, of course not for processing my original files.
what is an alternative?
thumbs plus - i used that for 5 years, but meanwhile they sell licenses since begin of 2008 without having a stable beta out - no, thankyou. thumbs seems to be let's say - discontinued!
idimager - is a very nice program from a dutch developer, always stays in contact with users, and has a lot of options other programs are missing. will buy a license.
no - i'm not connected to any company or developer - but i hate spending time and money on programs showing more bugs than goodies when updating!
