I apologise for what is likely to be a simple question, but I'm on deadline with a project and have had not sucess finding the answer after 2 hours of searching. I want to save images into a folder and display or present them in a specific order. When I drag them to the image basket, arrange them in the correct order, then save to a folder, they sort back to the original image number sequence. Any help, please? Thanks.

(1) Are you going to display them using ACDSee? >> If Yes, go to step (2), if No go to (5)
(2) Are they all in the same folder? >> If Yes, go to (3), if No go to (4)
(3) Drag them into the required order in the original folder (i.e. a "Custom sort") >> END
(4) Copy them into a new folder, and then drag them into order in that folder >> END
(5) Copy the required images into a new folder / Drag them into order in that folder / Rename them in a numerical sequence (e.g. using a template such as "Image_###" so that you get Image_001, Image_002, etc) / They will then retain that sequence in any application that can sort by Filename >> END
I hope that helps
