Beta 1.1 is now available for download at www.acdsee.com/proformac/.

Please note: If upgrading to 1.1 while running 1.0, please be sure to quit the application after the download is complete but before moving Beta 1.1 to your Applications folder. This will ensure the update goes smoothly.

    :(
So disappointed :/ that all required features are still missing (SORTING, copy pasting and crippled ui), prevents me to actually use this. My hopes are still high and hoping the best in near future :)

Hi. Can we please have an update on the product?

Is there going to be another beta release in the future or are you moving onto the final product?

    What is the timeline?

And are you going to include a migration ability from pc to mac?

    Thank you.

I can't really share the timeline yet, but we are planning on having another beta release with more features and bug fixes... Development is happening in stages like this to ensure quality feedback from the public before a final release.

    Thanks.

    Hi Tarjin.

Is it possible to send out a mass mailing to all Beta participants so that we are notified when the update is available or better yet, at the point when you are able to share the anticipated release date?

Did this and all I get is the icon in the app bar.
Then the only way to get out is to force quit the program.

It is the same as 1.0 on Snow.

I really hope your next version will run on Snow Leopard. Just got a brand new MacBook Pro and can't run the program. It hangs.

20th october 2009 : have been trying for the 20th time this week to run the beta version. it hangs. Without ACDsee, I don't see how I can operate this mac. I have been lured by all these reports that say that mac is the best...maybe the best OS, when when it comes to softwares, the feeling is they lag far behind what's available for windows. Can we have a tentative date from ACDsee developpers to let us know when the problems is solved ?

Why would you try 20 times to run software that nearly 100 people have already stated doesn't run on Snow Leopard (including the developer)? Maybe you were thinking the first 19 times were an anomaly? Could be that 21 is the lucky number... better try just one more time. Please let us know if it works.

    Hello

I have tried 1.1 on Snow Leopard (10.6.1) and it does not work! Any ideas?

    Hello zoranp,

Try running it 19 more times and let us know what happens.

Sorry, I'll try to be nicer -- don't want to upset Hollie again... We have been promised that there may be an "update of some sort" by the end of the week. Hopefully that means a version that will run in Snow Leopard.

Must be nice being a smug, pompous American Jay. Not everyone who comes here first language is English. Many have to use a translator to try and read the boards and responses which isnt easy. Its easier to post a question and then translate the answers in response.

    It's not all about you!!

As promised in another thread, I wanted to let you know we're working on a number of things, including better ways of keeping you up to date.

We've been very actively developing a new build (Beta 1.2) to address the Snow Leopard issue and expect to have that out to in the next few weeks. We are also working on Beta 1.3, which will include new features.

Even before Beta 1.3 is available, you will get a sneak peek of the new features in videos we are working on for our YouTube channel, ACDSeeTV. Please watch for an upcoming newsletter with more information.

    gracias
