Pro 3, wrong date used importing pictures.

I have always used the EXIF Picture Created date to create a subfolder with a name yyyymmdd when importing pictures. For me this is great because my pictures are then filed according to when they were taken. However, I see that Pro 3 uses the file modified date (NOT EXIF) when creating the subfolder. This is fine if you are importing directly from the camera and haven't modified it. However, when importing from a CD/DVD or memory stick and the files have been edited, the subfolders have the wrong dates. I then have to go and batch set information to change the modified date to the EXIF created date to fix this problem. Surely if you have selected the EXIF date for your database then that's what will be used? Or is this a problem? Anyone?

I think you're right, ACDSee should support using the EXIF date instead of file modified for folder creation on import.  You should submit a support ticket (support link at top left of this page) to suggest that.

Thanks, I did about 4 days ago. No response yet. I'm also still waiting for a confirmation email to login to the ACDSee online feature(now three days). It seems everyone is on holiday or something!!
