Hi Folks !
any help appreciated !!! (no answer from ACDSee Support so far, ie since 1 month now...)
- while the 'manage" and "view" modes work perfectly, when I just click on the 'Process" button, the program crashes immediately and systematically. ("acdsee has encountered a problem....")
- trying to repair it by myself, I have :
- uninstalled ALL my ACDSee programs (releases 2.5, 3.0Beta2 and 3.0)
- then entirely manually removed all the "ACD System" folders in AppData Local, AppData Roaming, Program Files (x86) and Program Data directories. (deleting so all my catalogs...)
- then, run the r_acdsee.exe code to clean registers, then run CCcleaner cleaning registers again.
- rebooted my PC and re-installed Pro 3.0 starting from scratch.
The problem is still the same !
- Important additional informations :
- Pro 3 crashes on my PC with Windows Vista 64 bits BUT the 3.0Beta2 worked like a charm on this PC.
- Pro 3 works perfectly (*) on my Laptop with Vista 32 bits.

(*) "search" functions are totally bugged, returning nothing, never stopping to search even after exiting the program... for example, doing 3 consecutive searches launch 3 acdsee processes, each using 100% of the cpu and finally frizzing entirely the computer... an acdsee search means "save what you can and be prepared to reboot your computer...."
