Install went ahead with no problems.
Keywords in Metadata in Batch processing, now sorted alpabetically. Thank you. (A left over from Pro 1 Beta).
E,e now working in :Add Text" Thank you.

I forgot to mention, that upon starting, a apl is loaded. It goes so fast. but there is definatly a plug-in that is acting strange. This was in the last build, and it happens in this build. I do not know if this is a left over from another ACDSee software that I have un-installed. Will try to identify.

Still reading images in directories, even if cataloged. The status bar shows the % sign as a folder is being read. This only seems to happen when RAW and DNG files are in a folder with 30 or more files in folder. It is OK with just JPG's in the folder.
I have HQ Thumbnails and Perform HQ Pass turned off.

Word wrap in "Captions" in "Mouse over Tips" would be nice. </forums.acdsystems.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Did you see my post about XMP files seeming related to re-cataloging? Any chance that this is at play for you too? What happens if you delete and then regenerate your XMP files?

Will try tomorrow, (or is it today?). I have been "bashing" the latest build about for 6 hours, and have just about had it for today (or was that yesterday?) </forums.acdsystems.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Happens here also but with folders containing only tiff (and, therefore, no sidecar). Rebuild thumbs and meta clears it for me

OK, I found the culprit. The IDE_LWF.apl is loading at startup.I think this is the Lurawave plugin.
Deleted from Program Files/Common Files/ACDSee Systems/Plugins 2 Folder. Now of couse it doesnt load.
Could be a left over from an old version.
    Is this still needed?

Also, I noticed in File Associations, 2 instances of RAS/SGI/IFF/EPS/PIC and PSD
The description and file associations are exactly the same, except PIC, which has two different descriptions,
and some of the icons are slightlty different.
    Anyone else see this?

    Hello Mark,
    Yes, you are right again.
I deleted all XMP files, and the reading of all images stopped.
Went to another directory that had no XMP, and generated some.
Went back to the original directory, and re-generated.

Now both directoris, on viewing does the same thing.

10 minutes later: I turned off "View XMP files" in the Advanced Filter, and it stopped.
Closed out of ACDSee, Restarted. Choose the View XMP.. again.
    Closed ACDSee. Restarted. Now no re-cataloging going on. </forums.acdsystems.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Well, I' think we've established the XMP files have something to do with this. But I'll be damned if I can figure the exact relationship.
