This is the problem...I have many folders with images and movie files in them. I would like to be able to open an image and then scroll through the rest of the images. However, when I start to do this, the movie files are included and it takes quite awhile for the preview of the movie to be loaded. Is it possible to set ACDSEE Pro to just skip the movie files and look at the images only?

Hi LOON,
there several ways to achieve what you want.
1. Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > FILE LIST > CONFIGURE FILTERS. Switch to APPLY FILTERING CRITERIA and uncheck SHOW MEDIA FILES.
2. If that does not have the desired effect, go to TOOLS > PLUG-INS > PLUG-IN SETTINGS > IMAGE DECODE tab and disable the ID_MEDIA.APL plug-in. This will completely disable your audio and video playback abilities in ACDSee.
3. There's a third switch under TOOLS > OPTIONS > PREVIEW. Disable the PREVIEW and AUTOPLAY audio and video clips options.Posted On April 28, 2006 - 03:11 AM (3 years ago) (Permalink to this post) -
