Organize headings

I have an extensive hierarchical tree of Database Categories, in which only the lowest-level categories get assigned to photos (I concluded that assigning anything directly to what I think of as a heading produces confusion).
Until now, if I wanted to see all species of birds, for example, I would click Birds in the Organize pane, and the system would find all photos assigned to bird-group categories under the Birds heading.
In Pro 3.0, that no longer produces results: “There are no items assigned to the selected categories.” Now, I have to click all nineteen subcategories to get the same thing. I suppose some users wanted it this way. I don’t; I want the option to do it my way, please. Even if I wanted to assign photos directly to headings, the option would be just as useful.

  • In the Organizer pane, at the top under "Match All / Any" ensure "Include Sub-categories" is selected

[Groan] I knew that - it's in my notes! Probably it's a sticky option so I'd gotten used to just having it that way. Thank you, John.
