Mouse Wheel in V3

    Is it me or is there an issue here?
    1. When I view thumbsnails, the mouse wheel will now longer allow scroilling up and down. You have to use the side-bar slider. Very frustrating.
    2. In VIEW mode, the mouse wheel allows scrolling through the pictures, but the pictures are not in sort order. The only way to view in the sorted order is to click 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons. Again, tedious and frustrating.

    I have XP 64 bit with 4GB RAM (in case that is of importance)

    Althouigh I have taken the plunge and bought this V3, (overpriced as it is) IMHO it is not yet ready for general release. Hopefully there a lot more tweeking to be done, and soon.

    Hi Spikes,

    I am not having these problems as described by you in my German version of Pro 3. However, you have to be careful what pane or part of the application your mouse pointer is located in when you try to use your mouse wheel. That is, if you want to scroll through your thumbnails your mouse pointer has to be in your file list pane, if it's in the preview pane or anywhere else it won't work. Same with the View mode. Here my mouse whell in working fine and files are scrolled through in srted order. Maybe something screwed up your sort order. Please check what sorting criteria is enabled and/or if an individual sort order is active.

    I am having the same problem, also on a Windows XP64 machine. I cannot scroll if the pane (any pane) is already at its top-most position, and if it is below that, any wheel input causes it to scroll to the top. Strangely, it did not behave this way when I first installed it yesterday. I've got a ticket in to ACD, and will try to remember to post the response here.

    I reckon I know what I am doing and this is a definate issue compared to 2.5

    Today I will dare to intall on my main Vista 32 machine and see how it goes...

    On Vista 32bit it is fine, so appears to be 64bit version of XP. This was reported in the beta test phase, but obviolsy ignored.

    Hi,

    I've got the same in my Winxp pro x64 sp2. Wheel always scrolls back( to top of list). The behavior is observed in all of the Acdsee windows (even in standard open dialog).
