More info on all the differences between Mgr 10 & Mgr 2009?

I'm looking for, but can't find, a full description of all the differences between Photo Manager v10 and v2009.  And considering the very high cost to upgrade -- $35 upgrade for a program that costs $50 to buy new! -- there had better be a night vs. day improvement!

What could be worth so much?  Especially since I just learned that even in the 2009 version, ACDSee still hasn't fixed their installer bug that changes every disk drive's "shell" from Windows' "explorer.exe" to launch ACDSee Photo Manager instead every time you double-click a drive letter (for example, double-clicking the "D:" drive under "My Computer" under Win XP launches ACDSee instead!)  I understand that not all users see this problem, but plenty of us have, and it's extremely annoying.  Fixing that ACDSee bug is difficult and requires editing the registry.  What's worse, every time you apply a patch or an update, the bug comes right back and you have to fix it all over again!

Another bug I still see in even the latest update for V10 is that it ignores the setting that tells it not to show any video files or play audio files while previewing or whatever it's called when you double-click a still image file to start looking at all still images in a particular folder.  In other words, even though I unchecked/disabled both "Preview Audio and Video clips" and "Autoplay Audio and Video clips" in "Options-> Preview", it still previews and autoplays all of the audio and video files in the current folder!  Those option settings only work AFTER I've double-clicked any still image to start viewing all stills in a given folder, THEN clicked "Browse", which is an extra step I almost never want to take.

    Here are my questions, then:

(1): Where can I find a description of all the differences between v10 and v2009?

(2): Has ACDSee provided a more thorough solution to their installer bug that changes drive's "shell"?

(3): Does v2009 finally fix the "Preview Audio and Video clips" and "Autoplay Audio and Video clips" bug I described above?

(4): For those who've upgraded from v10 to v2009, is it worth the $35?  If so, what new capabilities made it worthwhile for you?

    Thanks!

I would imagine the email that went out to all v10 customer announcing the new version would have detailed the improvements.  Offhand, I know the big ones were the new embedded metadata facility (allowing db info to be saved within the files themselves), the saved originals feature (allowing you to "undo" your edits at any time and revert to the original version of your image, even after you've saved over it), and saved searches (allowing to save and recall complex search operations).  I'm sure there were other things too, but these were the main ones that I recall.

No idea on your other questions - I've never experienced the problems you describe.
