I think I should warn the users of this otherwise fine program of one, at least to me, quite serious flaw in the file handling. If in the Folders pane one subfolder is moved to another folder the higlight moves down the file tree to another subfolder beneath previous one, and in the File list window a note appears saying “There are no items in the selected folders”, which actually is not true. Only if you click on the highlighted folder the actual contents appears.
As I have several thousands folders in my photo archive, accumulated through my 9 years of the digital photography, and many of them are actually empty for one reason or another, I didn't have any doubts about what the ACDSee 3 Pro tells me and I hit the Delete key without the hesitation. Only after few deleted folders I became suspicious and I checked the matter. Alas these folders were on the drives in my server which runs the OpenSource OS and doesn't have the Trash facility, so the files were deleted permanently. However, the same happens also with the folders on the drives in my work desktop, running the Windows 7 (RC), the difference being that these files can be recovered from the Trash.
I hope ACDSee will fix this bug so that instead of the misleading note the File list window will show instantly the actual contents of the highlighted folder, without additional clicking on it.
