For each layer a multitude of Effects can be added, modified & deleted.

On the Object Palette, it's the little notepad on the left side under the eye.

You have the freedom to modify them as long as the file is saved in apd format (ACDSee Photo Editor's native file format)

Once the file is flattened the ability to make adjustments no longer exists.

  • I was looking for the following functionality : I have pictures with people and and I want to put in Black & White except some parts that must stay in color : for example with weddings , just keep flower's color and put all the rest in BW.
Of course it must a very simple way. I found this functionality in PSP X2 but I'm not totally satisfied with it...

Try this tutorial: http://www.digiscrapinfo.com/files/uploads...orIsolation.pdf and see if that helps. I think that's what you were describing as your goal. HTH!

If you have ACDSee Photo Manager 10 or Pro 2, you can do it there too. http://blog.acdsee.com/2007/11/13/using-ac...ctive-coloring/
