Does anyone know of a way to select portrait, or landscape, oriantated photos? What I would like is a search criteria that allows for "x dimension > y dimension" (i.e. horizontal axis GT vertical axis). However, I can only seem to be able to enter a search criteria of "x dimension >/</= n" or " y dimension >/</= n"

I just go "View, Sort By, Orientation". All the portaits and landscape are quickly separated.
If you don't see "orientation", then you can set it up by "view, sort by, more". Then expand "EXIF, Camera, Orientation" and click OK.
Perhaps one thing I notice is the Pro version only allows one custom sort. But my old 7.0 version keeps track of two custom sorts.

Thanks for that. Works a treat.

You can set up as many fields to Sort by as you want by adding them as columns in Details view (either right click the heading when in Details view, or Tools > Options > File List > Details View > Choose Details. The order you arrange the headings in is also the order they will appear in on the Sort menu).

Thanks John for the "choose details" tip. This is going to save me some time.
