OK, like the speed of the interface. But not sure this is the 'pro' Beta. Are you sure this isn't the beta for the image browser and not the pro version?

Am also disappointed that the video thumbnail function is missing at this point.... And no editing whatsoever.... Not even resizing....

Our Mac team is dedicated to producing the best, full featured application that will provide photographers with a fast, flexible, Mac based workflow platform. Building from the ground up in the Mac OS, we have decided on a conservative approach, releasing the Beta build in phases. This is to ensure that, upon release, the product is everything you and your fellow Mac enthusiasts desire.

I like the interface....it's clean, but then, I thought 2.5 was clean as is. It appears ACD is trying to achieve the LightRoom or PS Elements look and feel, which is a little backwards from my workflow today. I think 2.5 lends itself to a smoother workflow. On the downside, it broke my Pro 2.5 install! I can't even start ACDSee Pro 2.5 now. Frustrating....but then, I knew better!

I really love the possibility to have folders/categories, thumbnails and preview in one view in ACDSee Pro 2.5. That's what I use every day. Browse to the folder with the tree (left), get an overview with the thumbnails (middle) and have a detailed look in the preview pane (right), so I can decide what Images to move or delete or to categorize or whatever. In ACDSee Pro for Mac I can't do these tasks without constant switching between the manage and preview views. I lose a lot of time clicking these buttons and it doesn't feel natural. So please bring back a smaller preview that can be integrated on the right side in the manage view (at least as an option).

Hi, I love it, used to use ACDSee when I had Windows the whole time.
My first impression on the Beta.
Keep a version like this, it's super quick to view pictures across multiple folders, something that I've searched for since I've switched to Mac.
Niggles, when viewing a pic full screen in the middle of 3000 photo's and then returning to the Organize view, it loses the place where it was and views the pics from the beginning again. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. Looking forward to taking loads of more pics now that I have what I need.

Downloaded Beta for the first time this evening. Impressed by initial look & feel of program as a BETA Organizer. However, disappointed Beta seemingly has no editing features. Is it the intent for this program to have editing as well as organizing capability? If so, please let us know when editing features will appear in Beta release. Also, as an organizer, there should be added capbilities for attaching photos to e-mail with variable options for sizing & quality.
