I am a new member of the forum.
Is it possible with ACDseePro 2.5 or any other ACDsee application to add text onto slides and select its display time individually, similar to the slide viewing duration.
I understand text caption as header and footer, while the stay on during the entire show time of a slide.

I know of no way of doing what you want, but I like the idea.
When viewing my images (not necessarily as a slideshow) I display the caption (and filename) at the bottom to remind me where the image was taken, but I think the ability to have the caption show for just, say, 2 or 3 seconds before disappearing and leaving just the image would be great.
It's just a pity it wasn't suggested before v3 was released, but I've made the suggestion in the "PC Development" forum here: http://community.acdsee.com/forums/topic/suggestion-timed-headerfooter-in-slideshows-and-viewer
