Keyboard functions for navigating around the Properties pane seem to be incomplete.
No doubt only a touch typist would appreciate this (everyone who uses a PC more than casually should learn), but it would save a lot of time and effort.
The Ctrl-Tab key combination, for moving the focus between currently displayed panes, gets the focus from the File List pane to the title bar of the Properties pane, but the keyboard can’t do anything in the title bar – it has to get into the properties fields. I thought Tab should do that, since it cycles through the fields once you’re in one, but no, from outside, it wastefully duplicates the Ctrl-Tab function. Someone thought the Keywords field was paramount: Ctrl-K gets there from the File List, and from there I can Tab back and forth. But I don’t use keywords – how about instead going from the other pane directly to whichever field was last used?.
For a more specialized circumstance: when I have the insertion point in a field of the Properties pane and I’m ready to move on to the next image, I have to click on the next image in the File List pane, then in the field back in the Properties Pane. Meanwhile, the Page Up and Page Down keys seem to be useless while in the Properties Pane. I should be able to use Page Down to move directly to the same field for the next image, keeping my fingers on the keyboard.
