Improve Renaming Conventions options

I cannot find a way to get ACDSee to rename my photos with format: Prefix_Date picture taken in-camera_unique camera name, ie  "DDG_YYYYMMDD_####".  First it apparently doesn't like underscores (which I think are visually a LOT better than dashes) and I can't get it to use the YYYMMDD WITHOUT the time.  It also doesn't seem to be able to figure out that the four-digit number is the in-camera sequence.

Would like to see much more flexibility in terms of customizing renaming.

Since this is exactly the naming I use (well, with MJS instead of DDG), here's how I do it:

    - first set the date/time output format in Tools->Options->General to "Date: yyMMdd", "Time" blank.

    - in the batch rename tool, on the template tab, "type DDG__*

    - between the two underscores, hit the insert metadata button and select the time field you wish to use (I use EXIF date/time original)

    - back in the name rename dialog switch to the search/replace tab

    - in the "search for" box, type in whatever stuff your camera prepends to the filename before the sequence number (on my pentax cameras, it is "IMGP")

    - on the advanced tab, select the options to save these settings as the default and to close the dialog automatically when done

This will produce exactly the result you want.  In theory, you'd never have to do any of that again - merely selecting a group of files, hitting F2 and then enter would do the job.  2.5 had a bug where the template setting wasn't remembered, so this didn't work.  I haven't tried it with 3.0, but kind of doubt this has been fixed.

So instead, I do the template part of the rename during the import.  It works exactly the same as it does for batch rename, but the setting is remembered for the next import.  Then I do the batch rename to get the search/replace happening, since that cannot be done during import.  So it's a two-step process, but the first step happens automatically on import, so it's actually still just a matter of hitting F2 and enter.
