icc conversion problem...

    dear readers; i have a problem when converting 16bit-tifs from prophoto rgb to srgb - some do fine, some do not and show error "übertragungsfehler" (transmission error?!).
    last nite i tried several scenarios to solve the prob: tifs with no compression, with zip-compression and lzw-compression - prob is not dependend on used compression. and it is not dependend on choosed rendering method perceptive, colour metric...
    tifs are 15-20 mb with res. 240 dpi.

    has anyone an idea?
