How to Save Results when Installing CD Over Dl Version

    I'm getting ready to buy ACDSee Pro 2.5., boxed version so I can have the docs and a CD if I move to a new computer. Been already using the trial version, which I dl'd, and of course want to save my results. I'm sure that the key that comes with the boxed version won't work to unlock the dl'd trail version, so I'll have to uninstall the trial version and then install the boxed version.

    How do I make sure that the work I've done will be seen in the new installed boxed version? Do I export the database and then import into the now installed version?

    The key should work fine.  Trial v is a full v.

    Uninstalling v2.5 does not touch the database but you might lose some workspace-type settings.
