How do I disable auto-starting ACDsee whenever I dlb-click a disk volume?

This "feature" of ACDsee whereby it automatically opens every time I dbl-click on a root volume in "My Computer" is undesirable to me, and I want to turn it off. But I can't figure out how!

Note that I DO want to keep "view folder with ACDsee" in the right-click context menus for all drives and folders; I just don't want it opening automatically except when I dbl-click a media file.

I've never had this happen to me, or heard anyone else mention it happen to me. Did ACDSee somehow get installed as the Auto Play program for all drives with mixed content?
