You can do that with the tool "batch set information".

Thanks! Can you tell me where this tool is located? Just under the tools menu, right? Sorry, I don't have my copy of ACDSee available (and won't for a week) so I just have to remember.

Yes, it's located under the "tools" menu. Sorry I can't provide any screens, as I have a localized version.
