forum search, don't get it

  I tried a search for "Windows 7" within the Pro 3 Features forum:

  As the clip shows, the search text "Windows 7" is not to be seen in the two-line quote from the results. It would be nice if the two-liner chosen did in fact show the search text to be present.

  Well, opening the second search result, it shows the individual post, from which the quote is taken. Only the full post doesn't contain the search text either. So why am I being directed to it?

  The second search result comprises 33 posts. Must I peruse all of them to see where the search text is mentioned? That's what I'd expect the underlying software to do for me.

  Finally what is the sort order applied to search results, assuming there is one?

  I expect this is one for Melanie. May I take the opportunity to thank you for contributions to the ACD forums.

  I have given up on ACDSee forum search as I can never find what I am searching for. 

  Workaround:  If you want to find what you want, use google search and search only the acdsee forums.  windows 7 search in acdsee forums on google.

  Hi,

  The tech has looked at the search functionality and it's supposed to be working properly but you're right, it doesn't return anything useful. I'll get him to look at it again and hopefully we'll figure it out. Untill then, Heidi's suggestion is pretty good.

  Thank you. I've complained about this nearly a year ago and received only blabla about some kind of sophisticated sorting by priority. Since then, I use the method Heidi described.

  It's certainly not working correctly. I've just done a search for 'RAW' within the 'beta 3 features forum' and it returned 3 pages of results. When I clicked to view page 2 it refreshed and came up with 84 pages of results, I then noticed it had reverted to searching all the forums. I repeated this a couple of times with same results.
