error in batch renaming

    hello.

    i am using the german version, so i have to guess the right name for the thing i want to do.

    since i applied the update 2.5.358 i cannot batch rename any files other than jpg-pictures.

    i am working with video also, so this is very important to me.

    am i the only one?

    is there any help.

    i tried to go back to the older build, where it worked, but i think i can not downgrade, maybe i have to reinstall...

    please help.

    I have very few video files but build 358 works fine with .avi.  What is haapening when you try to batch rename please?

    i tried it again. after restarting the computer and restarting the program. and cleaning the database.

    and now it seems to work fine.

    strange.

    BUT!

    There still is one problem. If the Preview Window is open and i can see the file in there, then it is impossible to rename. and the rename window will exit.

    this is what happened: i closed the preview window and restarted the software. renaming works.

    but is this a bug?

    or does it not work only with my files.

    they are mp4-files from my avchd-camcorder.

    they cannot be displayed with acdsee anyway.
