drop shadows

I love the new presets and the automatic grouping with the ability to uncheck the grouping option. Thanks for listening!

However, it's a bit buggy. When adding a drop shadow to a several objects or groups of objects, the right shadow doesn't always 'attach' to the right object and some of the order gets messed up. I have to ungroup some sets and drop shadow each layer individually. Even then, I frequently have to re-do the order of the objects as some of them bump themselves to the top when it attaches itself to the shadow. I didn't think to uncheck the option for grouping so next time I play I'll try that and see if that's where the behavior goes wrong.

This happened to me once. More recently, the shadows are just moving above the layer it's supposed to be in. In the other thread, I mentioned unchecking and rechecking the grouping option--not sure if it helps when this is the case. I haven't had it happen lately.

But I did notice how the layer order of some things will change.

What I think would be nice is if we could edit shadows once we applied them. Have I missed that somewhere?

No, you can't edit them. Its fastest to delete the shadow and do it again.
