Dragging images to network folder – only half works

Newbie here with brand new copy of ACDSee 3.

I wanted to place some images for my colleauge to access on a net (web) folder that I have added to  My Network places in Windows Explorer. That folder is also visible in the Folders pane in ACDSee, so I figured I could just drag the thumbnails there just like in Windows Explorer. But that doesn't seem to work, what happened was that the thumbnails were duplicated and that half of them were said to exist in that network folder, but when I go there, there is nothing there. Strange, isn't it.

Anyway, what I did was to open that network folder in its own window in Windows explorer and drag the thumbnails there. That seemed to work.

But isn't it a bit strange that there is an indication of the images being transfered to the network folder when doing it all inside ACDSee, but that nothing really happens. And how can the thumbnails be duplicated and have the correct path (C:\\ documents and settings\me\My Networkd places\...) but that there is really nothing there upon investigation.

Can one count on a fix for this so that drag & drop to all folders inside ADCSee works, including network folders?

I've never seen what you describe specifically - is this reproducible? - but I do on occasion see other kinds of temporary glitches when accessing folders on the network.  Usually this happens if the networked folder was not accessible when I started ACDSee that session but only became available later.  This happens for ordinary external hard drives too.  It always clears up if I restart ACDSee.
