Downloader Pro and Acdsee Pro 2

As a user of Downloader Pro from Breeze Systems, and using ACDSee Pro as my choice of viewer, and handling the catologing, I have tried with all previous versions, of getting any version of ACDSee to open when ACDSee is used in the "Custom Button".
The "Custom Button" can be configured to open a program at the %f (File) and/or %d (Directory)
which when clicked, opens up the corresponding program at the file and directory.
Almost every other graphics program I have installed or used, can be opened from Downloader Pro, and that includes Faststone Iimage Viewer, Abobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, and even MS Digital Image Pro,
    but not ACDSee.
Has anyone got this to work with an ACDSee product?
Can ACDSee get this to work in Pro 2?
I would be one "happy camper" if this can be incorporated in or before the final release.

I can't imagine what ACDSee could be doing that would prevent this from working if it is implemented correctly in Downloader Pro. But FWIW, I see the same behavior in trying to have ACDSee automatically invoked from ImageIngester - it just doesn't happen. So I agree it would be worth looking at why other programs have difficulty invoking ACDSee.

Thanks for the link Paul,I never look at FAQ </forums.acdsystems.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> , but still the question, why does ACDSee require a separate batch file when other programs do not?
EDIT. I just tried what was suggested, with the batch file, and it does not work with ACDSee Pro or 9.
With Pro I got 110 DOS Command screens.
    As the FAQ says, ACDSee 6 </forums.acdsystems.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> </forums.acdsystems.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
I think a lot of things have changed since V6.

    Why not forget Downloader Pro.
Why can't ACDsee Pro incorporate media download features like downloader pro?

I've used downloader pro because ACDsee's media downloader offered so little in the way of options. All i was wanting was for media to download from a card and be seperated into subfolders based on a date format that i choose. [2007-06-26] or [07-06-26] as examples.

They should look at downloader pro and incorporate those features into ACDsee's own media downloader!
