    Can you describe how you are doing this?  I can't even figure out how to customize the bottom toolbar; nothing I try works (but nor does it crash).

    Hi,

    It doesn't seem to be implemented in Manage mode, but I can succeed in View mode and don't get any crashes.

    FWIW, I'm not able to reproduce this - no crash when I do what you suggested.  Not sure what that means, except that whatever is going on must be specific to something on your system - maybe the some customizations you had already performed, or your OS version, or something else?

    Hello all,

    As a bug, this is something that needs to be reported to CS. Click on the "Ask a Question" tab. Once you have an answer, I encourage you to share it here.

    Crikey!!
    Confirmed - one industrial strength crash here, when done as above. Three crash dialogs to "OK" and still leaves the ACDSee UI as an unbeckoned wallpaper residue.

    I accidently discovered a workaround for this problem...

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In View mode, enter the customize dialog  and customize the bottom toolbar as desired.
    When finished, click the "Close" button.
    An Error dialog will appear saying "ACDSee has encountered a system error and needs to close."
    Do not click OK
    Wait a few seconds and then double-click the image behind the dialog. This will return to thumbnail view.
    Exit ACDSee.
    (the remnants of the crash dialog may briefly appear on screen)
    Restart ACDSee and go into View mode - the previous toolbar customizations will have been retained.
    QuBe.
