Change/remove a keyword from a database of 14k Photos.

is there a way to remove an iptc keyword or iptc supplemental categories without remove it file by file ?

where I'm wrong?

Keyword Picker just does not work as it should and, of course, does not appear in iptc tab for multi-selection.

1. Select all the images containing the iptc keyword to be removed or changed.

2. Use Batch Set Information to copy your iptc keywords into database keywords. (you will need to delete the * in the database keywords box or you will duplicate)

3. Use the keyword picker in the properties database pane and remove the 'offending' keyword

4. Edit the list to add a new keyword and then assign (if needed)

5. Use Batch Set Information to copy database keywords to iptc (you will need to delete the * in the iptc keywords box or you will duplicate)

All the above actions are with the same selection of images i.e. those with the specific iptc keyword to be deleted or changed.

Please come back if you are unsure of what I have outlined.

Or you could use iTag, free software, which allows you to add/delete keywords easily. ACDSee please take note!
