Hello,
When I batch set the exif dates of my pictures with ACDSee Pro 2.5, the resulting pictures have their EXIF section corrupted. Several tools show me the corruption while the original image worked well:
- Exiftool 7.7.5.0: "Warning: [minor] Entries in IFD0 were out of sequence.", et "Error: Bad format (0) for IFD0 entry 9"
- JPEGSnoop : "Excessive # components (117444096)." (usually it's only a few thousands)
- PTGui : "Error reading EXIF data from file: Unknown EXIF Data Type encountered"
- PhotoMe: "Invalid Data" (see http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/-RqGQoVud_wdViW0VlYdjw?authkey=Gv1sRgCL_ilfnZ6YXWeA&feat=directlink)
The original pictures are taken with a Nikon D70. You can find an example of the original picture and the corrupted one here: http://corvalan.net/acdsee/
In a 100 pictures folder, this occurs for almost 60% of the pictures. This occurs using Batch set information, or using Batch set timestamp.
Could you help me to find what's going wrong?
Thanks a lot,
Rafael
