Everytime I browse to a folder for images that are contained on an offline disc, I get a message saying "Insert Disc - Please insert the following disk:" I can cancel this message, but it pops up a new one for every image in the folder. This is really annoying. I fixed it in the last version by turning off an option somewhere, but I can't remember what I did, and I can't figure it out in version 2.5 Does anyone know how to turn this off? Thanks

Do not know... but in my use the disc is only asked for when trying to view the actual image... and not when just showing a thumbnail.
Wonder if maybe your browsing settings are for a larger thumbnail, or in some other format other than thumbs... and it's trying to pull info from the original?

That is my thought, that it's trying to pull the full file to create a preview. I don't want it to do that - where is the option to turn it off?

If it's trying to create a larger thumb than whatever it has in the db, seems that decresing the thumbnail size with the slider above and to the right of the file list would do the trick. Or if for some reaosn it has no thums at all, switching from thumbs view to list, icons, or perhaps details view would probably do the trick.

The thumbnails do exist, I can see them behind the "insert disc" dialog window. It is definetly trying to update them or something. I can't get it to go away until it goes through each file (sometimes hundreds in a folder) or I insert the disc. I would turn them off, but that's how I'm finding what I need. Very frustrating.

Just found the answer I think. I had checked under color management to apply color management to thumbnails and previews. I unchecked and so far it seems like it's working. It's always something dumb.
